ABC (name changed) is a virtual law office minus all the administrative costs of a law office. Its practically giving solutions to its clients at half the costs. All meetings are scheduled in business centres with clients and attorneys work out of their homes. they connect internationally and are able to provide quality services. I dont know if this model will work for lawyers with retail clients but for corporate clients and B2B I would assume that this is the best form of practice. Hourly billing can come down, administrative cost can be reduced and a lawyer still get to make money because of lack of adminstrative costs.
Consultants and corporate lawyers can benefit from this. However if this concept is already in place in India in a quasi-traditional form of practice needs to be examined.
